Latin name: Glossostigma elatinoides
General Info & Placement: Glossostigma elatinoides ‘glosso’ is a small creeping plant found in Australia and New Zealand. Its ability to form a dense lawn like carpet at a rapid pace is reason why this plant is very popular in aquascapes. Each plantlet is made up of two spatula shaped leaves. It spreads by shooting out runners and when left unchecked can completely cover the substrate.

Grows well under low to bright light, pH weakly acidic to slightly alkaline; Temp: 20-25 C;
