Origin: small jungle streams in Western New Guinea (Mamberamo region)
Diet: Takes all types of life & frozen food, pellets and flakes. Will thrive on any good quality pellet and flake food such as New Life Spectrum Community Formula.
These are small rainbow fish, reaching only about 5-6 cm, and have brilliant blue iridescent scales and brightly coloured fins. Tank should be well planted with floating plants and driftwood. Suitable for the smaller community aquarium. Egg scatterer among plants.
