Origin: Oscars are native to South America and occurs in the Amazon river basin and its side rivers.
Diet: Takes all types of life food (small fish), pellets and flakes. Will thrive on any good quality pellet and flake food such as New Life Spectrum Thera A Jumbo 6mm pellets.
In their natural environment they can reach a size of about 40cm. The species typically occurs in slow-moving habitats, and has been observed sheltering under submerged branches. Tank size: 200 liter for young 400+ for adults.
