Diet: Feeds mainly on floating or suspended zooplankton, therefore in the aquarium must be offered items of a suitable size. Takes all types of small life & frozen food, will thrive on any good quality pellet and flake food such as New Life Spectrum grow pellets or Xtreme Nano pellets.
Inhabits still or slow-flowing streams and other waterbodies, with a preference for shallow, marginal zones of heavily-vegetated, and is often found among macrophytes, submerged woody structures such as fallen branches or tree roots, or leaf litter.
