Origin: South America; Amazon basin.
Diet: Whiptails are omnivorous and will accept sinking dried foods, vegetable matter including blanched spinach, kale etc. Will thrive on any good quality pellet and flake food such as New Life Spectrum Algae Wafers.
Royal Whiptails prefer to feed in the evening, they also graze on fine algae in the tank.
