DRP 3 Aquatic Growth Formula
A slightly larger and more rigid pellet at 1.3mm in size that can be fed to most fish, Tropical and Marine, between 6cm up to12 cm in size. This food is slightly lower in protein than the DRP1 and 2 but still has a lot of good ingredients for growth stimulation. This food does not foul the tank but be careful not to over feed your fish. Feed only as much as fish will consume in 3 – 5 minutes. This is very popular for Discus, Angels and fish around 7 to 15 cm in size. A very good guide for selecting food size is to select a pellet size that is around 20-30% the size of the fishes mouth. Equally important is a food that will absorb moisture quickly and that is soft and palatable so that fish can easily break the food down when feeding into small enough bits that can be easily swallowed.
